- Processing of data
Personal data is information about your identity. This includes information such as your name, address, phone number or email address. The data processing takes place for the fulfilment of the contract as well as for fulfilment of the statutory obligations. We process the data of prospective customers to safeguard a legitimate interest or to initiate a contract.
In certain cases, we require more information e.g. your name and your address, so that we can fulfil your request or can provide the desired services. This advanced personal data is recorded and saved only if you provide this information voluntarily, e.g. within the scope of an enquiry, a registration, an application for employment or as potential suppliers. To fulfil our contractual obligations, we work together with other companies.
- Transfer of personal data
Your personal data shall be transferred to third parties only if it is necessary for the execution of the aforementioned activities or if you have previously consented to the transfer. These third parties are not allowed to use the data for any other purpose.
We disclose the personal data of customers only if we are under legal obligation or if we are obligated by a court order or if the transfer is necessary to execute or protect our general terms and conditions or other agreements. This shall apply correspondingly with regard to the storage of this data. The data is not disclosed for economic purposes.
Our employees and the companies commissioned by us are obligated to maintain confidentiality.
- Storage, Erasure
The stored personal data is generally erased upon expiry of the legal retention period.
The stored personal data is also erased if you revoke your consent for storage and if it is lacking other legal basis, if its knowledge is no longer required for the fulfilment of the pursued purpose of the storage or if its storage is inadmissible on other legal grounds, unless the legal retention regulations speak against an erasure, in which case a limitation of processing (locking) takes place instead of erasure.
Furthermore, the locked personal data is erased if your personal data is illegally processed or must be erased to fulfil the legal requirements.
In cases where the erasure is not feasible or achievable only with disproportional effort, a limitation of processing takes place instead of erasure.
- Details, information and rectification
You can demand details of your personal data that is processed by us. We shall gladly inform you about your stored personal data upon a written request.
In case of the communication via an unencrypted email, we cannot guarantee the complete data security, hence we recommend that you use encrypted email or post for the communication of confidential information.
If your information is not (no longer) true, you can demand a rectification. If your data is incomplete, you can demand a completion. If we have forwarded your information to third parties, we shall inform the third parties about your rectification – provided that it is required by law.
- Limitation of personal data processing
You have the right to demand a limitation of processing of your personal data (locking) for one of the following reasons:
If the correctness of your personal data is disputed by you and we had the possibility to verify the correctness.
- If we do not carry out the processing lawfully and you demand limitation of use instead of erasure
- If we no longer require your data for the purpose of processing, however you still require it for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims
- If you have filed an objection, and it is uncertain whether it outweighs your interests
- Right to data portability
You have the right to receive the personal data, which you have provided to us, in a portable format.
