Commissioning of the new chamber kiln with heat recovery and additional modern dryers.

Approved capacity doubling at the Breitscheid/Erdbach site after compliance with the latest emission control values of the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG).

Expansion of production facilities.
Construction of two round kilns, each with a capacity of 13 m³. Production of refractory material, product expansion to include utility and decorative ceramics for household use.

Mill owner Ernst Hofmann commences production of fireclay bricks for the domestic stove and oven industry with the construction of a chamber kiln with 6 firing chambers.
Renaming of the mill to Ernst Hofmann, Keramik- und Chamottewerk in Erdbach/Dillkreis.
