Where we come from
Founded at the beginning of the 20th century in Breitscheid, Hesse, the family-run company, now operating worldwide, was integrated into the international IFGL Group as early as 2008. For over 75 years, we have been producing and distributing products for the foundry industry and in the field of technical ceramics. Our motivated and dedicated team has many years of extensive experience and a clear understanding of all aspects of the various specialist areas.
hofmann CERAMiC produces in Breitscheid (Hesse) and Ohio (USA). With its own branches and long-standing sales partners, hofmann CERAMiC is represented on all five continents.

When selecting and procuring production technology, environmentally sound suitability is important to us. The company is located at the foot of the Westerwald, whose nature we are committed to protecting. For our ceramic products, we rely on natural raw materials that come exclusively from local, certified and long-term partners. Environmentally friendly, inorganic binder systems are also used for the production of our feeders. Our technology – paired with the selection of raw materials – enables our customers to generate significant CO2 savings and at the same time reduce costs. All our products are 100% recyclable.
Of course, uniform, binding standards apply to the quality of our products and environmental protection at all hofmann CERAMiC locations worldwide.
