Sustainability

We care about our society, and about the environment. We have complied with the specifications in our environmental management handbook since the company was founded. Environmental compatibility is a key consideration for us in selecting and purchasing manufacturing technology. The company is located at the foot of the Westerwald forest, and we’re committed to helping to protect its natural landscape. We only use natural raw materials based on aluminum and silica that come from local, certified clay pits in our filters. Only anorganic binding systems are used in manufacturing our feeder heads. Our technology – along with the raw materials we’ve selected – allows us to manufacture our products through environmentally-friendly production. All of our products are 100% recyclable.

Of course, uniform and binding standards apply to the quality of all our products and to environmental protection at all hofmann CERAMiC locations worldwide. Using first-class raw materials, designing production to conserve resources, and providing excellent quality are integrated goals at our company, and we pursue them consistently and internationally.
